When I try to connect android phone to the computer using USB cable, an error appears:
USB device not recognized, the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.

Steps to fix error: USB device not recognized on windows 10

1. Open Computer Management and select Device Manager.

2. In the Device Manager right pane, locate and expand, Universal Serial Bus Controller, or Other Devices, depending on which one you see.

3. Find Unknown Device or Unknown USB Device with an exclamation mark and uninstall it.

4. Download and install OEM USB drivers:
Download Android USB Driver for Windows:
https://developer.android.com/studio/...

5. Restart your computer and try to connect your android device.

Note: If this method doesn’t work for you, it seems that your USB cable or USB port is broken.
So, try to Connect the device to your PC using another USB cable to fix USB device not recognized.
